Red Bank, NJ, July 24, 2018Educational Resource Systems, Inc. is proud to announce and welcome Carrie Schaal as its new Vice President, Business Development.

Formerly the Head of Oncology Training with AstraZeneca, Carrie has held a variety of AstraZeneca positions including Director for Commercial Learning and Development – US Specialty Care, launching 16 new and in-line brands/indications for the Oncology franchise. During this time, she was recognized globally, receiving the Gold Marcom Award, the Silver Davey Award, and the CEO Best of the Best Award.

Prior to her AstraZeneca experience, Carrie held positions at Genentech, one of which was Commercial Lead – Innovation. Her work in this role earned her three different awards: Innovator of Innovation, CBO Ace Award for Innovation, and the CT&D Innovation Award.

Carrie also worked with Merck for 11+ years as Field Sales Representative, Executive Professional Development Trainer, and Associate Director, Sales.

Carrie has volunteered for and held positions with LTEN (the premier sales training industry organization) in both an advisory role and currently as a board member. She also volunteers for and is an active member of Big Brothers Big Sisters.
