Rick Grossert is a master-level automotive technical training professional. Over many years, Rick has helped manufacturers like Daimler Chrysler, Nissan, Nissan Forklift, Plug Power and other corporations perfect their technical training programs. He is an expert in the development of training videos, e-learning programs, training curricula and technical content. As a master-level trainer, Rick currently leads the national Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program’s (KIA VTAP) technical training delivery operations. An experienced scuba diver, Rick also enjoys the challenges of open water ice diving in lakes and oceans when they freeze over.
Kevin hails from the State of Missouri. He is a 22-year Army veteran, is married with four children, and possesses an MBA degree. Kevin is an extraordinary talent management, strategic and operational-level professional who prides himself on applying continuous process improvement, building customer relationships and partnerships, and promoting organizational success. Kevin brings to the table more than 20 years of national-level talent acquisition experience that includes: pioneering original equipment manufacturer (OEM)-sponsored, US Department of Labor and GI Bill®-approved talent recruitment, assessment, and placement programs. Kevin enjoys spending time with family, hunting, and auto racing in his spare time.
With over 25 years of distinguished service in the United States Army, including a tenure as Command Sergeant Major, Michael brings a wealth of leadership experience and a deep commitment to serving others to the ERS team. Throughout his military career, he honed invaluable skills and cultivated a passion for supporting service members and their families. In recent years, he has had the privilege of collaborating with various industries to recruit top-tier talent, particularly focusing on aligning Veterans’ skills with diverse opportunities. He is dedicated to contributing his expertise to enhance ERS programs and strive for success, both for customers and esteemed service members.
Scott has 25 years of pharmaceutical experience, starting at AstraZeneca in diverse roles from sales to marketing, with expertise in areas like cardiovascular and oncology. Educated at Penn State and Temple University (MBA), he also teaches at Rosemont College. Since joining ERS in 2007, Scott uses his extensive background to enhance sales training strategies and team capabilities.
With 9 years of life sciences experience, Ryan combines a deep understanding of learning methodologies with a passion for creating impactful, engaging training experiences. He excels in developing tailored training solutions for diverse learner types and has a successful track record in guiding transformative training initiatives. Ryan co-founded the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s Young Leadership Committee and serves as an advisory board member for Seton Hall’s Customer Experience program.
Jim Carone’s career encompasses a wide variety of activities in medical education, pharmaceutical marketing and strategic development, and event management over the past 25+ years. Jim has been a lead account executive for several therapeutic areas on behalf of pharmaceutical clients, both domestically and internationally, and has led agency teams in the launches of several branded drugs.
As Director of CME, he was an early proponent and creator of online education and led several CME programs that earned 6-year medical and 4-year pharmacy reaccreditations. Jim has directed numerous live and virtual meetings and events in the US and abroad, including advisory boards, dinner meetings, investigator meetings, speaker training, injection training, product theaters and tradeshows, for both medical professionals and consumer audiences.
Jim graduated from Franklin & Marshall College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology. He resides in Ridgefield, Connecticut, and is an avid cyclist.
Jose joined the ERS team in 2016 as a Junior Graphic Designer. Graduating from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, he brought with him multiple years of management experience working in the retail industry. While at ERS, Jose has created work for Lundbeck, Johnson and Johnson, AstraZeneca, Otsuka, Merck, and Galderma. After 3 years as a junior Graphic Designer, Jose was promoted to senior level and within a year, Creative Director of ERS.
Helena joined ERS in 2006 as a medical writer, where she spent many years developing comprehensive and engaging training programs for pharmaceutical sales representatives in an array of therapeutic areas. Helena now leverages the experience gained in that role to effectively manage the ERS Content Services Department, leading a team of talented medical writers and instructional designers. Prior to joining ERS, Helena worked as a writer and editor for various health care communication companies. Helena graduated from Rutgers University, Honors with Distinction, with a Bachelor of Science degree in English.
Corey joined the ERS team in 2015 as electronic submission manager. Graduating from Monmouth University with a dual degree in Business Management and Marketing, he brought with him multiple years of management experience working in the retail industry. Corey spent time as a Project Coordinator before transitioning to Account Management. Here he spent time working closely on the sales side with clients such as Johnson and Johnson, AstraZeneca, and Otsuka. With his knowledge of client relations, sales, and internal processes, in 2019 he became the Operations Director serving as support to all departments at ERS.
Janeth joined ERS the summer of 2022 as Human Resources Director. Janeth has over 15 years of HR experience leading the full spectrum and entire HR function. She has an undergraduate degree in Industrial Relations from Bloomfield College and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Some of her background includes mergers and acquisitions, providing due diligence and integration. Janeth is now leveraging her experience as a strategic and tactical HRBP (HR Business Partner) with ERS. She has international, multi-state, multi-industry and multi-site experience and is fluent in Spanish and English. Some of the organizations Janeth has worked for are GE, Pitney Bowes, UTMB (University of TX Medical Branch), Sysco, Caterpillar, and University of Houston.
With a proven track record of driving operational excellence and optimizing business processes, Dana is a seasoned professional in the role of Vice President of Sales Operations. With a keen strategic vision and hands-on leadership, Dana has consistently played a pivotal role in enhancing organizational efficiency and achieving key business objectives that align with corporate objectives. With over 25 years of experience within Learning Dana has spent her career focusing on sales and program operations.
Prior to joining ERS, Dana held key leadership positions in reputable organizations, where she successfully spearheaded initiatives to enhance sales productivity, streamline processes, mitigate risk, and manage large cross-functional teams. Dana started her career as a Project Manager, with a variety of clientele within the healthcare, financial services, retail, and automotive verticals. Her clients have included Novartis, J&J, Merck, GSK, Aflac, Gucci, PepsiCo, H&M, Morgan Stanley, Mazda, Harley Davidson, Toyota, Kia and others. Dana has consistently exhibited her expertise at project and financial management, operations, risk mitigation, and program implementation.
Cindy has been a part of the ERS family since 2005 and has 25 years of experience supporting the life sciences industry. Cindy graduated from Hussian College with a concentration in Graphic Design. During her career, Cindy has held key management positions in leading pharmaceutical communications companies with roles spanning from Creative Director to Director of Account Management. Her diverse background—both creative and strategic in nature—has been the foundation on which Cindy has built and successfully delivered hundreds of eLearning programs, training workshops and new product launches. Cindy excels at uncovering clients’ needs and creating training solutions to meet their objectives. Her decades of experience orchestrating the strategic and tactical portions of any given project from proposal through delivery, makes Cindy an integral part of ERS’ project teams.
As a part of her role at ERS, Cindy manages the Project Management Team and assists our Sales Team with engaging new and existing clients.
With over 36 years in health care, founding three startups, and spearheading the Oncology Education Consortium, George combines extensive experience in sales, marketing, and education with strategic partnerships, like those with key health care associations, to deliver impactful educational solutions.
Gregg has been involved in medical education and sales training for more than 40 years. Upon the completion of his BA in Marketing Communications from Seton Hall University in 1982, Gregg was immediately hired by Johnson & Johnson’s Ortho Diagnostic Systems as Manager, Visual Communications.
He developed the in-house capabilities for video production, computer graphics, multi-image slide productions, National Sales Meetings, and Product Launch Meetings. Working under the Director of Sales Training, Gregg’s progress continued with new opportunities and responsibilities at Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceutical. His staff provided state-of-the-art production for Ortho as well as several Johnson & Johnson operating companies. During this time, Gregg was the recipient of the United Way Tri-State Communication contest First Place award for video production. He has also been the subject of several articles in corporate video production and management journals.
In December 1988, Gregg’s desire to pursue sales with Ortho offered new responsibilities and challenges, rewarding him with the Outstanding Sales Representative award for the fourth quarter in 1989.
In October 1990, he joined ITL/CME as Director, Sales and Marketing, where he could offer clients his knowledge of video production, as well as pharmaceutical sales training experience. Gregg was responsible for selling the first computer-based training program to Janssen Pharmaceutica. This marked the start of several entirely computer-driven sales training programs at Janssen as well as other pharmaceutical companies.
In 1994, Gregg resigned from ITL/CME to form Educational Resource Systems, Inc. (ERS).
In the last 29 years, Gregg has assembled the best talent available in the areas of medical writing, medical illustration, instructional design, web-based programming, and meeting planning.
