Red Bank, New Jersey – June 4, 2015 – Educational Resource Systems, Inc. (ERS) was named a Finalist in Innovation in LTEN Excellence Awards, honoring best-in-class learning and development initiatives within the life sciences. The LTEN Excellence Awards is the premier awards program in the United States recognizing innovation and leadership within the life sciences training and development community. Through the LTEN Excellence Awards competition, practitioners and suppliers submit learning initiatives and training content in various categories for recognition of excellence. Awards categories include Innovation, Learning Content, Emerging Leader, Partnership, and Pinnacle.

“Life sciences training and education professionals are critical to the success of their businesses and they deserve recognition for their astounding and impressive creation of high-quality learning content and training initiatives. We are delighted to honor such an impressive group for their efforts as they push the envelope in training and development and ultimately impact patient care,” said LTEN Executive Director Dawn Brehm. “The 2015 LTEN Excellence Awards judging panel had the enviable but very difficult task of selecting finalists from among so many worthy entries. Congratulations to all of the finalists!”

ERS, a leader in the life sciences marketplace since 1994, was recognized as a finalist for their innovative approach in helping a client revise a 4-hour new-hire PowerPoint deck and condense it into a 90-minute interactive, engaging workshop. By using medical illustrations, animations, and cutting-edge augmented-reality technology, ERS was able to simplify difficult medical content and execute it in an innovative way to improve learner experience and retention. Although the new program could be executed in a live classroom setting, the client was able to meet another objective by running the workshop in a virtual environment via Adobe Connect. Reducing the amount of time required to complete the workshop while maintaining effectiveness has allowed the client to spend more time on other areas important to the business. ERS presented a poster detailing the project at LTEN’s Annual Conference.

“I am very excited and proud of our team for having been recognized by LTEN as a provider of cutting-edge, innovative training solutions,” said Gregg Terry, President, Educational Resource Systems. “I am equally grateful for our clients who are willing to partner with ERS to make a change in the design, development, and implementation of enhanced learning experiences for their sales representatives and MSL teams.”
